Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Jaron Namir Boss Battle (Highest Difficulty)

This is the third boss battle in Deus Ex: Human Revolution with Jaron Namir. Winning this battle grants “The Snake” achievement.

I am playing on the highest difficulty setting, “Give Me Deus Ex”, and I am speced for stealth, hacking, the Typhoon Explosive System, and Dermal Armor with EMP shielding.

I have not upgraded my bio-chip. This is important because if you do upgrade your bio-chip, you will not be able to use augmentations in this battle.

I realized, after the previous two boss battles, that the simplest approach would be to use EMP mines followed by several blasts from the Typhoon Explosive System. Sure enough, Namir went down without incident.

I completed Deus Ex: Human Revolution shortly after recording this video. If you are interested, I also have videos featuring the Hyron Project / Zhao Yun Ru Boss Battle and the post-credits secret ending.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Yelena Fedorova Boss Battle (Highest Difficulty)

This is the second boss battle in Deus Ex: Human Revolution with Yelena Fedorova. Winning this battle grants “The Mantis” achievement. I am playing on the highest difficulty setting, “Give Me Deus Ex”, and I am, up to this point, speced for hacking and stealth.

After several failed attempts, I won the battle using several types of grenades to keep her stunned, followed by a couple of frag grenades and several rounds from the combat rifle and revolver for damage.

There is an alternate way to win this battle that involves coaxing Yelena to use her melee attack against several power generators scattered throughout the room. I was able to accomplish this, but it did not incapacitate her completely. In the end, the method I used here proved most practical.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Barrett Boss Battle (Highest Difficulty)

This is the first boss battle in Deus Ex: Human Revolution with Lawrence Barrett. Winning this battle grants “The Bull” achievement.

I am playing on the highest difficulty setting, “Give Me Deus Ex”, and I am, up to this point, speced for hacking and stealth.

After several failed attempts, I won the battle using an EMP grenade, followed by several frag grenades, and several rounds from the combat rifle.

This is by no means the only way to win this battle. I have seen others hurl gas cans and red barrels at Barrett in an attempt to defeat him. Although this technique did not work for me, it is certainly an option if you do not have the necessary equipment when entering this battle.
